Inclusion Overview for Church Drive Primary School
At Church Drive, inclusion is at the heart of everything we do. We believe every child has the right to feel safe, valued and supported so they can achieve their very best. Our inclusive approach celebrates diversity, promotes equality and removes barriers to learning, ensuring all pupils — including those with additional needs or from disadvantaged backgrounds — thrive academically, socially and emotionally.
We place a strong emphasis on personal development and wellbeing. Through a carefully planned curriculum, enrichment activities and nurture provision, we help children develop resilience, confidence and respect for others. Our staff work closely with families and external professionals to provide tailored support, early intervention and high-quality teaching for pupils with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND).
We hold high aspirations for every child, encouraging them to take on leadership roles, engage with our wider community and aspire to ambitious futures. By fostering a positive culture of inclusion, we equip our pupils with the knowledge, skills and values they need to succeed in the next stage of their education and beyond.
