Welcome to Church Drive Primary School. It is a real privilege to welcome you to Church Drive Primary School and, as Acting Headteacher, to lead a school that means so much to me.
My own journey at Church Drive began as a student teacher. Since then, I have been fortunate to teach across the school, undertake a range of leadership roles and serve as Assistant Headteacher. I am incredibly proud to now have the opportunity to lead a school that has played such an important part in my own professional journey.
Church Drive is a very special place. Visitors often comment on the feeling they get when they walk through our doors – the warmth, the relationships and the genuine sense of belonging. Our children are known and valued as individuals, and we are fortunate to have a dedicated team of staff who care deeply about the children and families they serve.
We are proud of our school, but we are also ambitious for its future. We have high expectations for every child and are committed to providing an excellent education and experiences that help them discover their strengths, build confidence, and recognise how much they can achieve.
Our community is an important part of who we are. We are incredibly fortunate to be situated in Port Sunlight and its rich history and culture, and we want our children to grow up with a strong sense of belonging and pride in the community around them. We value our relationships with our families and the wider community and believe that children achieve their best when school and home work together.
Above all, we want Church Drive to be a place where children are happy to come each day: where they feel safe, cared for and challenged; where they develop a love of learning; and where they leave us ready for the next stage of their lives with happy memories of their time here.
